SPEECH AND WRITING COMPETITION EDSA FBS UNY 2015

Are you looking for an event to show your talent in Speaking and/or Writing?

Here we come with our annual event “SPEECH AND WRITING COMPETITION”

This year’s theme is “Golden Indonesia 2045”

How to register:

1. Registration for Speech is started from July 30^th 2015 up to September 4th 2015 and for Writing is started from July 30th 2015 up to August 31st 2015.
2. Registration by e-mail: swcedsauny@gmail.com
3. The registration fee for Speech Participant is Rp. 50.000, - and Rp. 30.000,- for Writing Participant (Bank Mandiri: 137 00 1127388 1 a/n Dinnya Soca Dayinta)
4. Registration Requirement: a. Registration form
   b. Scan of Student Card
   c. Letters of recommendation from School
   d. Scan of transfer payment proof
5. For Speech participant: fill in the register form download here and attach the registration requirements with subject: SWC EDSA UNY
6. For Writing participant: fill in the register form and the originality letter download here and attach the registration requirements with subject: SWCEDSA/Category(ShortStory/Essay)/Name/Title/School Origin
7. Participants are expected to send a confirmation by SMS to 085799262164 (Mutia) or 085740465618 (Farikha) after sending the e-mail registration.

SPEECH COMPETITION

For High School Student (Yogyakarta-Jawa Tengah)

Terms:

1.     Participants should wear their own school uniform.

2.     Participants come 30 minutes before the event to do the reregistration.

3.     Registration number will be drawn to determine the sequence number.

4.     Bring the speech script related to topics that are provided by the committee; 

a. Better Character, Better Nation; b. Youth’s Chance for Nation Change; c. The Youth’s Power for Powerful Indonesia.

5.     Speech duration will be around 5-7 minutes. If happened more than 7 minutes will make the score reduction.

6.     Participants have to bring the speech script to be given to the juries. Participants are only allowed to bring small notes.

7.     Participant will be disqualified if ignoring the MC’s call for 3 times.

8.     The jury's decision will be inviolable.

9.     Speech Competition will be divided into two rounds

- Mastery of Topic
- Grammatical Point
- Fluency
- Pronunciation
- Performance
- Talking Point in the final round

WRITING COMPETITION

Theme: "Coloring Intellectual Path For The Pride Of Indonesia"

Deskripsi singkat tema:

         Pada tahun 2015 Indonesia telah menginjak usia kemerdekaannya yang ke-70 tahun. Tidak terasa 30 tahun mendatang Indonesia akan memasuki usia emas kemerdekaannya. Waktu 30 tahun ini adalah waktu yang tepat untuk kita mulai menyusun strategi untuk menjadikan Indonesia yang hebat di tahun 2045. Namun dalam perjalanan menuju 100 tahun Indonesia medan yang ditempuh tidak selalu mulus. Semakin bertambah usia Indonesia semakin pelik pula masalah-masalah yang dapat menghambat terciptanya cita-cita Indonesia Emas 2045, seperti fenomena peledakan pertumbuhan penduduk dan meluasnya paham liberal. Sebagai generasi muda, sudah menjadi tugas kita untuk mewujudkan cita-cita tersebut dan menanggulangi masalah yang mungkin menghambatnya.

All participants will get a certificate

There will be chosen three winners of Writing Competition and will be contacted via message on September 6th, 2015. The winners will be invited to attend the closing ceremony to receive the prize on Tuesday, 8th September 2015 at Ruang Seminar, 3^rd floor, Gedung PLA FBS UNY.
