SPEECH AND WRITING COMPETITION 2014
Hey guys!
This is the second big event of EDSA..
The terms for Speech Competition are as follows:
1. An active High School student.
2. Bring his/her own speech script related to topics that are provided by the committee;
4. Participants have to bring the speech script to be given to the juries. Participants are only allowed to bring small notes.
5. The duration is 5 to 7 minutes, more or less will effect to the assessment.
6. Participants will not be questioned in the first round.
7. The juries' decision cannot be proceeded.
P.S
- There are only 10 participants to join the final round, and will be chosen only the best three.
- There will be new themes from the committee to the participants to be delivered to the juries.
- Participants only have 30 minutes to make their new speech scripts.

3. Original.
4. Never been published.
5. No SARA.
6. Format: written in A4 paper, space 1.15, font Times New Roman 12, margin 2 cm.
7. Written in 2 to 4 pages.
8. Give your identity.

Election as Momentous Transition for the Nation
1. An active University Student.
2. Written in English.
3. Original.
4. Never been published.
5. No SARA.
6. Format: written in A4 paper, space 1.15, font Times New Roman 12, margin 4-3-4-3 (Left-Top-Right-Bottom)
7. Written in 4 to 5 pages.
8. Give your identity.
Submission:
We will accept your paper until April 11th 2014 at our stand in Lecturer Building II (C15) or you can submit it by e-mail in edsaswc2014@gmail.com
1TECHNICAL MEETING
1 Peserta atau guru pendamping wajib mengikuti technical meeting yang akan dilaksanakan pada:
v Hari/tanggal: Jum’at, 17 April 2013
v Waktu: 14.00-selesai
v Tempat: PLA lantai 3 Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, UNY.
2. Bagi pendamping atau peserta yang tidak mengikuti technical meeting denagn sendirinya sepakat dengan hasil technical meeting dan tidak diperkenankan melakukan keberatan.
1. Bel pertama: tanda memulai pidato
2. Bel kedua: waktu telah mencapai 5 menit
3. Bel ketiga: waktu habis
4. Pada babak final akan diambil 10 peserta terbaik.
5. Dalam babak final, 10 peserta akan diberikan topic sebagai bahan pidato dan akan diberikan waktu untuk menyusun pidato mereka.
6. Setelah itu peserta diwajibkan menjawab pertanyaan dari juri dalm waktu 2 menit.
7. Selanjutnya akan dipilih 3 peserta terbaik sebagai juara 1, 2 dan 3.

Ä Mastery of Topic (penguasaan topic)
Ä Grammatical point (tata bahasa)
Ä Fluency (kelancaraan/kefasihan)
Ä Pronunciation(pengucapan)
Ä Performance ( penampilan)
Ä Talking point ( ketepatan jawaban)
