An Evening with Edsacoustic and Friends: Welcome Back to the Evening

An Eve is an event of EDSArt Festival held by the fourth Divison of EDSA. This event led by Ulik Chodratillah as the leader of the committee and Adelita Nindya as the coordinator of EDSArt Festival was successfully done on Friday, May 17^th 2013 at Pendopo Tedjokusumo. The theme “Welcome Back to the Evening” is suitable with the time when it was held. Many people were so enthusiastic about this event, although the event began at 19.30 WIB, but they were already there since 19.00 WIB. They were waiting patiently around Pendopo Tedjokusumo and some of them had sat inside.

            The concept of this event is “wizard”. Ulik as the leader of An Eve said that the concept was only to build up the stage arrangement, the appearance and also for the committee dress code. The concept had no relation with the theme and the music performance by the performers. This event performed the first until the latest generation of Edsacoustic, from 2003-2011.  They performed acoustic very well on the stage, and all the audience enjoyed the show. In the middle of the event, there was a coffee break, it was free for all audiences. Enjoying the show with a cup of coffee made them hold their drowsiness because the show ended at midnight. One of audience said “inviting all the alumni of Edsacoustic is a good event concept, and also the stage-arrangement is good and suitable with the theme”.

            The committee also performed acoustic performances from other students associations such as HIMASETA, HIPER, BDS, Sasmita, Asarkem, etc. They performed as an opening of this event. This event acually is a series  of an EDSArt Festival as told above. This is the second agenda of the event. The first is Blood Donation which was held on Tuesday, May 14^th 2013 and the third is Relung Laboratory which will be held on Friday, May 31 ^th 2013. (Galih&Aisah/EDSA Press)
